The University of Wisconsin Marinette is part of the broader University of Wisconsin Colleges system, which is designed to help students easily transfer. Students enroll here during their 1st 2 years of university study and then upon earning their Associate degree in Liberal Arts they can then take advantage of the Guaranteed Transfer Program, which offers students guaranteed transfer to a 4-year institution into the University of Wisconsin system. Through collaboration with some of the other UW universities, students are able to complete a Bachelors or Masters degree at Marinette as well.Students at UW-Marinette can participate in sports such as basketball, volleyball or soccer, or they can choose to become members of the numerous clubs and organizations at the school. These include Art Club, Anthropology and Sociology Club, Audubon Society, Business Club, Community JazzEnsemble, Gamers Club, and International Connections.
