Description

The University of New Haven (UNH) is a private university composed of The College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences, Tagliatela College of Engineering and the College of Lifelong and eLearning. UNH offers 75 undergraduate and graduate degrees. Aside from academics, students can get involved in numerous extracurricular activities, a popular one being athletics. UNH offers 14 NCAA Division II sports and recreational sports, both club and intramural. Other activities include community service, leadership development, clubs and organizations, undergraduate student government, and many others.

Two featured sites are the Sandy Point for rare shore bird sighting and historic Bradley Point Park whis is a popular place for picnics and recreation. UNH is less than 5 miles away from downtown New Haven, where students can enjoy the many restaurants, cafes, theaters, and stores. Students can meet other students from their neighboring school, Yale University, and broaden their social network.
UNH is about 80 miles away from New York City and easily accessible by train, which offers students the opportunity to enjoy all of the famous attractions and sights conveniently.
