Saginaw Valley State University is a public school offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees. The University is made up of 5 colleges: The College of Arts and Behavioral Sciences, The College of Business and Management, The College of Education, The Crystal M. Lange College of Health and Human Services and The College of Science Engineering and Technology. Through the many programs it offers, the University prides itself on focusing on its students needs to develop leaders that will go out and distinguish themselves by their hard work and merit. The University has an extensive athletics programs including baseball, basketball, cross country, football, track and softball. Saginaw Valley State University is located in Saginaw, Michigan in the American Midwest. The city is located on the Saginaw Rivers, a few miles inland from Saginaw Bay. Old Town, which is on the other side of the river, is home to many popular bars, locally owned restaurants and artistic venues. Residents here will never be short of places to visit or things to do.
