Northwest College is a public 2-year community college located in the Northern Rocky Mountains in Powell, Wyoming. Their modern campus offers over 100 academic programs in a wide variety of subjects and their small class size ensures all students receive lots of personalized attention and support. Once students finish their 2-year associates degree, they can transfer to one of the more than 30 university partners NWC has and finish their bachelors degree.
Northwest College is one of the few community colleges in the US which offers on-campus residence. The College has 5 residence halls which helps foster a strong student community and helps enrich the various activities that NWC has to offer including intercollegiate athletics and a wide range of student clubs and organizations.
Northwest College is located in the western state of Wyoming nearby to the northern Rocky Mountains and Yellowstone National Park. This area is well-known for an abundance of outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, canoeing as well as a number of winter sports.The campus is in the small, friendly town of Powell which has been designated as an “All-American town”. Powell has a very western feel to it with a quaint downtown and wide-open spaces. This is one of the safest towns in the US and a wonderful place for students to quickly improve their English.
