Lane Community College is dedicated to more than just helping its students earn their associates to degrees to move on to University. It is also an institution dedicated to helping its students find jobs. Lane hosts an iMatch Skills as well as offering their students a National Career Readiness Certificate.In addition, Lane has transfer arrangements with many top universities for students wanting to complete their bachelor degrees.
Lane Community College offers a variety of sports for students to participate in including, basketball, baseball, track and field, and soccer. They also have an extensive list of extracurricular clubs and organizations such as International Students Club, Hospitality and Culinary Program, LCC Table Tennis Club, and much more.
Lane Community College is located 5 minutes south of downtown Eugene, home of the University of Oregon.The campus sits just across from the Eugene Public Library. LCC is situated near the Willamette River and Russel Creek runs right through the campus near thetrack and soccer fields.
The residents of Eugene enjoy warm, dry summers andcool, wet winters. In spring and fall there is usually alight rainfall over long periods of time, and if they arelucky residents may even get a touch of snow. In contrast,July and August will bring temperatures of around 80degrees Fahrenheit when the people of Eugene can enjoysome fun in the sun along with ample opportunities foroutdoor recreation such as swimming, biking, hiking,and fishing.
