Foothill and De Anza Community Colleges (FHDA) are two of the premier community colleges in United States and have one of the highest rates of transfers to national four-year universities. Recently FHDA was named #1 in transfers to the UC and Cal State systems (119 international transfer students accepted to UC Berkeley and 167 accepted to UCLA for fall 2011).FHDA offers more than 100 different majors in a wide variety of fields allowing students to choose traditional courses of study or focus on some of the hottest current fields such as biotechnology and video game development.
