Dean College is a private collage in the quaint New England town of Franklin, Massachusetts. The college offers both associates and bachelor degrees. The school recognizes that not all students learn differently. Students of all learning styles and interests can find the help they need whether it be a greater challenge in their academics through their honors program, sports, through their athletics department or help with a learning disability from the Arch program.
Students at Dean can take advantage of their athletics department with 10 varsity sports for men and women, such as lacrosse, soccer, softball, football or basketball. There is also and extensive extracurricular program with over 25 clubs and organizations to choose from including business club, Literary Journal, Phi Theta Kappa, Brotherhood and Zuri (male and female step squads) Free Thinkers or the Debate Association.
Dean College rests on a beautiful, historic 100-acrecampus in the small, 27 square mile town of Franklin,Massachusetts. Students can take the short trip to downtownto unwind and visit the local eateries or bars. In thesummer they can take a swim or enjoy fishing at BeaverPond. They can also take the hour and a half trip to thebeach overlooking the Massachusetts Bay.The wonderful and historical city of Boston is about 1hour away offering numerous attractions and entertainmentoptions as well as lots of fine dining and world-classshopping.Franklin enjoys 4 distinct seasons with warm summers and cold winters. The spring and fall are spectacular inthis area of the country and there are lots of options foroutdoor recreation year-round.
