Citrus College is one of the oldest community colleges in California, yet it provides students and faculty with some of the most modern learning facilities available.The campus covers 104 acres with 28 major buildings and numerous sports facilities for baseball,football, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field, volley ball and weight lifting.
The college has more than 20 student clubs, including an international student club. The Associated Student Organization helps organize college activities throughout the year including the popular Spring Fest each March.
Citrus College is located in the quiet suburban city of Glendora, California – 30 minutes east of downtown Los Angeles.
The nearby San Gabriel Mountains provide apicturesque backdrop for the college and surrounding area. Glendora is a safe, family-oriented community that has a small downtown shopping area, as well as a large shopping center where students can enjoy a variety of restaurants, a bookstore and an electronic goods store as well as the latest Hollywood blockbusters at a 10-screen movie theater.
The Glendora area is served by a public bus system as well as a commuter train system that helps students reach all of the popular attractions that Southern California has to offer.
