Bunker Hill Community College is one of the largest colleges in the state’s community college system. It offers 17 Associate in Arts degrees, 40 Associate in Science degrees, 39 certificate programs and incorporates multicultural and international perspectives in its courses, programs and institutional climate. BHCC is well renowned for it’s academic excellence and international students play a central role in the college community.
Agreements between BHCC and many four-year colleges and universities allow BHCC graduates to transfer, often with junior-year status, to top institutions throughout the United States.
BHCC has a significant international student population and offers an International Center that serves as a student’s “home away from home”.

Bunker Hill Community College’s main campus is located in the historic Charlestown neighborhood of Boston, a short distance from such cultural landmarks as Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, and the renowned Freedom Trail.
The campus is also easily accessible to Boston Common, Public Garden, and the Charles River, which serve as settings for outdoor and sporting activities. Sports fans can watch some of Boston’s top-ranked baseball, basketball and hockey teams in just a few minutes by train from the campus.
